I ran across this blog tonight and thought it would be good to include a link for others to read!  The article was written by an LA police detective right in the middle of the protests for No on Prop 8 before and after the votes were cast.  I am not one to be able to express my feelings in a way that anyone else would ever to really understand. . . . so all I will say is this breaks my heart for so many reasons!

Our Halloween this year was awesome!  It was the first time ever that we celebrated in 77 degree weather and no, we didn't go anywhere tropical!  We started out with the kids helping to beat up the biggest pinata I have ever seen!  It was so big the kids fit inside it after all the candy was gone!  After that, we didn't even need to go house to house for candy. . . but we did go trick or treating to a few friends houses.
